COGEMACOUSTIC® increases its environmental commitments
At ECE COGEMACOUSTIC, we firmly believe that protecting the environment is a shared responsibility. This is why ambitious initiatives have been undertaken to reduce our ecological footprint and promote sustainable practices. Our efforts in terms of environmental commitments include the installation of a photovoltaic park and the transition to LED lighting, using clean technologies while reducing on energy consumption.
- Installation of a Photovoltaic Park
- Description of the project: We recently installed a 250 kWp photovoltaic park on our premises. This ambitious project aims to use solar energy to meet a significant part of our energy needs. The park should cover around 50% of our annual consumption.
- Environmental impact: Thanks to this installation, we have already reduced our CO2 emissions by 2.3 tonnes in one quarter. This project is part of our environmental commitments to promote renewable energy wherever possible and reducing our carbon footprint.
- Technical details: The park includes 616 solar panels, covering an area of 1350 m². The panels are equipped with the latest technology in solar energy conversion, ensuring maximum efficiency even in rainy or cloudy weather.
- Transition to LED Lighting
- Project description: We have replaced all our lighting with high efficiency LED lights. This transition concerns both the offices and production spaces. Around 200 light points have been replaced by LEDs.
- Benefits: LED lights consume up to 80% less energy than traditional bulbs and have a much longer lifespan, reducing maintenance costs and electronic waste.
- Environmental impact: This transition allows us to reduce our energy consumption by 30%, thus contributing to the reduction of our ecological footprint.
